Privacy Policy — BeamDrop

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Information Collection

BeamDrop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, analytics, or device identifiers to external servers. The app has no backend, no account system, and never contacts any server operated by us or any third party.

2. Photo Library

BeamDrop accesses only the photos you explicitly select through the system photo picker. Selected photos are copied to a temporary folder inside the app's local sandbox so they can be shared with your own computer. They are never uploaded to any cloud service or sent to us.

3. Local Network Transfer

BeamDrop runs a lightweight web server directly on your device and serves your selected photos over your local network (Wi-Fi or Personal Hotspot) to a browser on your own computer. This transfer happens entirely within your local network — the data never leaves it and never passes through any external server. Local network access is requested solely to enable this direct device-to-computer transfer.

4. Data Retention

Photos copied for sharing are stored only temporarily on your device and are removed when you clear them in the app or the temporary storage is cleared by the system. Stopping the server or closing the app ends all sharing immediately.

5. Use of Information

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, no data is used, processed, shared, or sold to any third parties.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or analytics services. There are no in-app purchases.

7. Children's Privacy

The app does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

If the app's functionality changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated with the new policy and an effective date.
