1. Information Collection
Tube Miter Calculator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, analytics, location, or device identifiers. The app works fully offline, has no account system, and never contacts any server operated by us or any third party.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
All calculations run locally on your iPhone or iPad. Projects you choose to save (Cut Assistant, Compound Cuts, Board Feet and Stock Optimizer inputs) and your app settings (such as metric/imperial units and "Keep screen awake") are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. This data is never sent to us.
3. Photo Library (Add Only)
When you tap Export PNG and choose "Save to Photos", the app asks for permission to add images to your photo library. This permission is used only to save the PNG report you just created. The app cannot read, browse, or upload any of your existing photos.
4. Sharing
When you choose "Share…", the PNG report is handed to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes next (Messages, Mail, Files, AirDrop, etc.) is entirely your choice and is handled by iOS and the app you select.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Exported PNG files are kept only in the app's temporary folder and can be removed at any time with Settings → Clear temporary files. Saved projects can be deleted individually from History, or all at once with Settings → Delete all saved projects. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
6. Use of Information
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, no data is used, processed, shared, or sold to any third parties.
7. Third-Party Services
The app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or analytics services.
8. Children's Privacy
The app does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
If the app's functionality changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated with the new policy and an effective date.
